When I was younger I had thick, thick, long hair that was so healthy. It seems right around when I was 16 and bleaching the shit out of my hair that it went thin and brittle (duh, bleach.) BUT after I stopped and left my hair alone for 3 YEARS it is still thin and weak! WHAT THE HELL. So I am forever on missions to trying products to get my hair healthy and thick...(nothing really works too great I've found but I'm not giving up). Anyways so right now I'm taking the 1000mg tablets of Biotin and I take about 3-4 a day . Somewhere they sell 5000mg tablets so I figure 5 pills is my limit...hanve't read anything stating its unsafe yet. But let me tell you my skin is a MESS!! I've never broken out so much in my life (thankfully it's only on my chin and a bit on my forehead so I can manage, and with the tea tree oil and face scrubs I seem to be able to keep the pimples a little bit at bay). But has anyone ever noticed this as well? Are there any other ways to make your hair grow? I've found with biotin my hair has grown a lot faster but the thickness is not there...I really hope its just not gone altogether my hair was GORGEOUS and all salon stylists envied it...I envy it now too that it's gone :'(
